Loved this post! You’re making me very envious, I miss having a garden so much.

And thanks for the heads up about For the Love of Homeschooling Nature Studies. Sounds right up our alley. X

It's very reasonably priced and suitable for a variety of ages. We've really loved it and will keep doing it next year. It's worth going back into their archives of previous topics as there are many now to choose from depending on what sparks your kids interests.

Oh this was a delight for the eyes!

It’s given me such a yearning for seasonal weather and to be surrounded by flowers.

On my parent’s farm there were blankets and blankets of calendulas, to me they bring endless joy with their cheeriness. I feel you with the roses too! Such a delight to smell, such height maintenance!

Pea flowers I find enchanting, and a good old cosmos never goes astray!

Thanks for sharing your world, you’ve created a beautiful space, and that nature study set up makes me drool a little!

P.s. there is a song of the Tansie Flower in the flower fairies of the wayside book. I still know the poem off by heart!

Cosmos is on my 'to grow' list. We scattered seed over winter but I think all the birds got them. As well as zinnias, dahlias, hydrangeas and of course bougainvillea too! 🌼

My favourite aspect of quince flowers is the moment just before they open. The spiral pattern in the folded up petals is perfection.

It’s a cold, grey day here in the UK so this has given me a little glimmer of hope to get through the winter. I love spring blossom so I will enjoy it vicariously through you! 😁 Enjoy every moment.

What beautiful colours! A joy to read and see all of your lovely Spring flowers on a cold autumn day here. Those plum blossoms are stunning and the lilacs too. Your homeschooling set up looks so inviting too! We've got an apple tree in our garden and I love seeing the blossom in the spring x
